Mr Log Murugesan is a fully accredited, UK-trained Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He is listed on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.
Following graduation from the University of Manchester Medical School, Log completed his specialist training in Plastic Surgery at several of London’s most respected hospitals. He subsequently undertook advanced fellowship training in aesthetic surgery under internationally recognised surgeons in London. His further sub-specialist training also includes head and neck microsurgery, breast reconstructive microsurgery at two world-leading cancer centres - Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto, and The Royal Marsden.
Log’s practice spans a comprehensive range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, with expertise in aesthetic breast surgery, body contouring, skin procedures, and hair restoration. Known for his meticulous surgical technique and refined aesthetic judgement, he is dedicated to achieving natural, harmonious, and individualised results for his patients.
In addition to his clinical work, Log has a strong academic background. He has taught anatomy at St George’s, University of London, and was awarded a distinction for postgraduate research thesis in regenerative biology at King’s College London. He also holds a master’s degree in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery from University College London. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, and his work was also recognised with the prestigious Hackett Memorial Prize by the British Association of Aesthetic Surgeons for research into reducing complications in aesthetic surgery.
Mr Murugesan has memberships with several esteemed professional bodies, including the British Association of Aesthetic Surgeons, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the UK Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.
