Dr. Kazem graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Medicine in Leiden in 1985. After completing eight years of residencies in general, burn, and plastic surgery, he then actively contributed to residency and internship programmes at The Academic Hospital in Groningen and established the Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Division at The Westfries Hospital in Hoorn from 1994 to 2003.
