Mr Scott Corthine graduated from The London Foot Hospital and School of Podiatry in 1988. He remained for one year after graduation as a clinical demonstrator and researcher in the effects of AIDS/HIV on the foot and established the first podiatry clinic dedicated to treating that patient group.
He then worked in the AIDS/HIV field for the NHS whilst working in and studying sports and dance medicine. He has worked with most of the producers of West End Productions including Really Useful Company, Disney Lion King, Cameron McIntosh and was consultant to the circus company that performed at the Millenium Dome as well as many professional sports teams.
Scott gained his fellowship in Podiatric Surgery in 1999 and was clinical lead in the foot surgery outpatients service at Ealing Hospital NHS Trust for seven years. His main area of interest being hallux valgus (bunion) surgery. Scott sits on the Medical Advisory Committees of Dance UK and The London Welbeck Hospital and was its’ Chairman from 2009-2012. He gained a Master degree in Healthcare Law and Ethics from Swansea University in 2011.
After a successful career at top level rugby union he completed 3 London Marathons and multiple Triathalons and endurance events. His current interests are medical law and ethics and spending time with his family.
